Simple Setup. Instant Alerts. Smarter Trapping.
TrapSmart is designed to be intuitive, rugged, and reliable—so you can focus on the field, not the guesswork. Here’s how the system works:
1. Install the Sensor
Each TrapSmart sensor attaches directly to your existing trap. One end of the clip connects to the trap door, the other to the sensor’s switch.
- Trigger Mechanism: When the trap is sprung the door closes, it pulls the clip from the sensor—activating the alert system.
2. Place the Control Unit
Control units can be placed indoors or outdoors, typically within 3 to 1000 feet of your traps, depending on your environment and terrain.
- Supports Multiple Sensors: Monitor several traps at once from a single control unit.
- Optional GPS Tracking: Helps prevent loss or theft by constantly transmitting location data.
3. Get Real-Time Notifications
The moment a trap is triggered, the control unit sends a notification:
- Instant Alerts via text or email
- Repeat Notifications every 2 hours until the trap is serviced
- Unlimited Contacts – send alerts to as many recipients as needed
4. Monitor Anywhere
Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to monitor trap status in real time.
- Web-based Dashboard (available with GPS-enabled units)
- Mobile-Friendly Access
